4月22日下午，市委教育工委书记、市教育局局长陈秋明一行莅临我校指导工作。深外集团罗来金校长陪同，外小汪娱校长携全体行政干部热情接待。On the afternoon of April 22, Chen Qiuming, Secretary of the Working Committee of Shenzhen Municipal Education Bureau, Director of Shenzhen Municipal Education Bureau, paid a visit to our school. Mr Chen was warmly welcomed by Mr Luo Laijin, Principal of Shenzhen Foreign Languages Education Group, and the administrative staff of Shenzhen Foreign Language Primary School headed by Principal Wang Yu.
Director Chen Qiuming and his delegation inspected the school’s teaching and learning environment, carefully evaluated the school culture and the curriculum system and learnt about students’everyday school life. Moreover, he also expressed his sincere concern to the teaching staff on behalf of the Education Bureau.
In a meeting after the tour, Principal Wang gave a report on the school’s educational philosophy, how the school builds and keeps an exceptional teaching staff and the challenges the school is facing. Director Chen spoke highly of the outstanding achievements made by the school over the past 20 years and expressed great appreciation for the hard work and dedication, the down-to-earth approach and the relentless efforts for innovation that are valuable elements of the school culture. At the same time, Director Chen showed great concern over the renovation of the school’s existing facilities and offered guidance on developing a stronger teaching staff and setting a strategic long-term goal. In addition, he also stressed the importance of sticking to the epidemic prevention standards and urged the school to carry forward its fine traditions, give priority to moral education and make greater breakthroughs in the new era.
As new reforms and pilot initiatives are about to be implemented to fuel the development of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone and the Greater Bay Area, under the leadership of Shenzhen Foreign Languages Education Group, our school will take full advantage of the opportunity to further improve our education quality so as to live up to the expectations of the society.
