That ESG factors have a material effect on business performance and investment returns, is widely recognized by policymakers and market participants, substantiated by the research and investment cases. Further to the consensus, the discussion around ESG has moved from "WHY" to "HOW".
The 9th China SIF Annual Conference, to be held on December 7th, will bring together domestic and international policymakers, standard setters, asset owners, asset managers, financial intermediaries, as well as corporate and academic representatives to decode "How to do ESG". The discussions will also address new issues arising from the rapid development of ESG investment and provide insights into domestic and international ESG policies, investment approaches, and technical standards.
This event is the main conference and thus part of the 2021 China SIF Week. China SIF Week will be held from December 6th - 13th in Beijing in a FULLY ONLINE format. SynTao Green Finance, Sina Finance, together with United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) and the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchange Initiative (UN SSEi) will host the event.

China SIF keeps launching a series of landmark research reports, such as China Sustainable Investment Review, and supporting the Dissertation Competition on ESG and Sustainable Finance. It has become one of the most influential responsible investment forums in the region.
