Role description:
The role will be responsible for driving the broad activities of the Global Product Group (GPG) within the BlackRock / China Construction Bank joint venture WMC.
Core to the role is an ability to create and articulate strategic plans relating to existing and future products, taking into consideration client, industry, market, regulatory and technology trends. A key deliverable is the oversight and execution of product development initiatives in partnership with colleagues and clients.
The individual will more particularly support the creation and syndication of a strategic product roadmap for the WMC. He/she will also play a key role, in partnership with other functions, in executing on this roadmap: legal, financial and operational fund structuring, regulatory/licencing, product positioning in the marketplace, etc. In this respect, it is expected that he/she will have an intimate understanding of the onshore China fund market, both in the public and private fund spaces.

Establishing operational procedures and governance pertaining to the launch and ongoing management of all Wealth Management Products on offer within the WMC
