The role involves:
• Taking part in the process of identifying and assessing investment opportunities in companies spanning across several healthcare sub-sectors.

Temasek is an investment company headquartered in Singapore. Supported by 11 offices globally, Temasek owns a S$306 billion (US$214 billion) portfolio as at 31 March 2020. We have a strong track record in the PRC and are looking to hire an experienced transactional counsel with at least 10 and above years’ PQE to join our legal team based in either Beijing or Shanghai office.
Candidate should have strong transactional experience representing foreign investors investing into the PRC and familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory laws and issues such as foreign investment laws and public market regulations, especially in relation to joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.
Other complementary skillset or specialist knowledge, such as technology (artificial intelligence, blockchain, technology transformation) or capital markets, public capital markets or funds, is an advantage.
Candidate must demonstrate a track record of managing complex and time critical M&A transactions. The candidate should be a team player who at the same time is able to guide and lead the more junior members of the team, and engage the senior members of the team.
Prior experience in a major international or “Red Circle” PRC law firm would be desirable. Fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is a must.
