Job Purpose (Job Summary):
Working with the Investment Management team for Asia ex Japan, the incumbent will be assigned sector research responsibility primarily within Greater China markets. The sector analyst’s duty will include, but not limit to, identifying investment opportunities, building financial models, following industry trend and collecting and analyzing company or industry data.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
China A & H share research responsibilities;
Fundamental research of companies in the designated markets / sectors.
This includes quantitative analysis of corporate balance sheets, operating parameters, financial parameters, earnings model, valuation model, etc., of companies in our investment radar;
Expects to perform certain administrative support in the followings such as attends regular team weekly and quarterly investment meetings and contribute to discussions, provides administrative support to Investment Directors and Fund Managers
by monitoring the model portfolios and maintaining spreadsheets, financial models, updates market and securities database and prepare weekly/quarterly reports, assists in preparing materials for investment meetings and client reports.
Work Experience / Knowledge:
Minimum 3-year sell side/buy side research experience
Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:
Good communication skill in English
Good analytical skills
Strong PC/Bloomberg/factset/other database skills
License/Registration/Certification: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
University degree holder, CFA holder will be given credit
