Do you smell what CHEERS got cooking? A new bistro, complete with charcuterie, salads, sandwiches and more, officially launches this weekend in the Fenghuanghui shop near Sanyuanli. Even better, expect a new cocktail menu and daily food and drink deals.

Launch weekend starts on June 25, Friday from 5 PM and continues through June 26, Saturday: get a free glass of wine with every food purchase, from the cheese and cold cuts platters to the seared tuna salads to the CHEERS club sandwiches. CHEERS Cocktails

CHEERS is also leveraging its spirits portfolio with a new cocktail menu. The six options include refreshing tipples like Aperol Spritzes, Bellinis and Mojitos, classics like Gimlets and Old Fashioneds and, for the health-conscious, tomato juice-powered Bloody Marys. Whether you are a rum, whisky, gin or vodka fan, there is a drink for you, with prices from RMB45 to RMB55.

And, of course, there is plenty of wine and beer. We’ve written about recent additions, including wines from highly regarded Springfield Estate in South Africa – try “Life from Stone” Sauvignon Blanc [LINK], the nicely contrasting Rieslings from the Mosel region of Germany and, last week, an intriguing Spanish newcomer made with Godello grapes.
