The 一码通 or "One Code Pass" was launched recently in order to help coordinate the epidemic prevention and control measures in the country. The code allows for quick access to the subway, malls, and other public places. The number of places using the 一码通 will continue to increase during this time, so having one at the ready will help your day go smoother.

There are also a few additional options and features that might prove useful:

Your Risk Level is Colorized

When you open up your 一码通, the center will be in one of three colors: green, yellow, and red.

These color codes are meant to give you an idea of whether you have been exposed to a potentially infected person or not.

Green: All Clear - You have not been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case.

Yellow: Possible Contact - You might have shared the same space with a suspected or confirmed case.

Red: Warning - Contact a hospital as soon as possible

(If it is blue or grey, you've either just signed up, or there was an error. Don't worry, simply try and reload it later.)

There is Now a WeChat Mini-Program

The code can now be registered through a WeChat Mini-Program by scanning the QR code above with WeChat. This will take you to the following menu.

Here you can follow our guide on how to register for guide. This will also allow you to access your code by clicking on the 我的电子码 at the bottom of the menu.

Faster Access Through Mini Programs

Something that is different from the previous version is that you will now be able to access this menu through the mini-programs menu in WeChat. This is accessed by swiping down while on the main page of your WeChat app.

Once you have accessed the mini-program, you can see it under "Recently Used". Simply click and drag it to the "My Mini Programs" section to have quick access to it whe you need it.

You Can Also 'Float' It

While you are in the main menu of the mini-program, you can click on the three dots in the top-right corner to access the program menu.

Once in the menu you can select the 'Floating' option to create a widget on the main page of your WeChat app that will allow you to quickly access the program without having to dive into your official accounts.

This floating widget can be moved around your screen by clicking and dragging it to where you would like it to go.
