Spot Yourself at Day One of the 2018 Beijing Burger Festival

Beijingers turned out in their thousands on Saturday for the rock 'n' roll-themed burger extravaganza that is the 2018 Beijing Burger Festival. More than 40 vendors were kept busy slinging a mind-boggling array of options, from deep-fried soft shell crab burgers to eel patties to good old-fashioned American cheeseburgers.

It was a feast for the eyes and ears as well as the taste buds, as a chock-a-block lineup of headbang-worthy, hip-shake-inspiring musicians and entertainers, including a karaoke contest that saw five budding rock stars take to the stage to compete for the chance to win a return flight to Europe with Turkish Airlines. The sing-off continues tomorrow with one more lucky contestant set to get their greasy mitts on a ticket.
