2020 Spring Festival Bar and Restaurant Opening Hours, Jan 24-30

If you aren't jetting off for Chinese New Year then it can be a tricky time to be in Beijing, what with many popular venues closing for a few days, if not a whole week.
To make sure you aren't left pouting in the cold in front of a closed door at your favorite bar or restaurant, below are details of opening and closing times throughout Spring Festival (Jan 24-30 unless otherwise indicated; Sunday, Jan 19 and Saturday, Feb 1 are designated make-up working days).
As a general rule, hotel restaurants and malls are likely to be open during the holiday but we'd suggest ringing ahead anyway if you're unsure if the venue will be open, as locations may be forced to change their opening times again closer to the date to deal with staffing issues.
Note: We have classed restaurants that are closing for three days or less as "open," more than that and we have put them in the "closed" section. In the run-up to Spring Festival, we will update this list frequently via the original blog article that you can access by clicking "Read more" at the bottom.
