Side Street turns three

2020 Burger Cup winners Side Street are celebrating turning three this weekend with three days of food and drink deals. On Friday, Jan 29, they'll be launching a brand-new burger, the details of which remain a secret but if it's anything like their existing range of burgers we are very excited to try. That burger will be buy-one-get-one-free from 7pm onwards, and there'll also be chances to nab vouchers for burgers and more throughout the weekend's celebrations. Mussels night every Wednesday at Jing-A Taproom CBD

Head over to Jing-A's CBD Taproom on Wednesdays to get 50 percent off mussels, available with a choice of three sauces: classic cream and garlic, spicy tomato, or ginger coconut curry. As well as being delicious, mussels are super healthy, being high in protein, low in fat, and packed with essential vitamins and minerals like B12 (we're not sure if that still counts if you wash them down with several pints of beer, though). Deal available from 5pm onwards.

Winter specials at Moka Bros

This winter is too cold for salad? Think again. Moka Bros has introduced a limited-edition warm winter salad, packed full of hearty ingredients like oats, quinoa, roasted veggies, and black beans, topped with half an avocado, cashews, ginger, and chili. We've tried it for ourselves and it definitely does warm the cockles in a way that lettuce never could. The salad is available in Moka Bros stores and via their partner delivery platforms.

BOGOF burgers at Beersmith

Last week, we introduced Beersmith's new brunch dishes but they have deals for the brunch averse, too. Every Saturday, from noon-4pm, order any Beersmith burger and get the second one free. Choose from plenty of options like the chili wagyu beef burger, fully loaded with Spanish flavors like Romesco sauce and piparra (pickled green peppers), or the vegetarian OmniPork burger, an alternative meat pub-style burger with garlic aioli, Brava sauce, and taro chips (offer excludes wagyu beef sliders.)
