Don't Panic About This Journey Card Update

What does that mean? Most importantly, it means don't panic.

According to Beijing Daily, the text reads "this asterisk is to indicate that the city you've visited in the past 14 days contains medium or high-risk areas, but it doesn't necessarily mean you've visited these places".

Instead of marking cities with risk areas in red, the report continues, the risk areas within the city will be listed within parentheses after the city name. These are essentially pointers, showing mini-program users where not to go in a city with outbreaks.

If you're worried you might have passed through a risk area, Beijing Daily recommends reporting to your community, employer, or relevant hospital or clinic to undergo quarantine and health monitoring.
