Brackets Set in the 2022 Juicy Burger Cup: Who Ya Got?
Familiar faces and newbies meet in the Beijinger’s 2022 Juicy Burger Cup, which pits 64 of the capital's best burger barons against one another until just one remains.

Last week we supplied you with a list of over 100 contestants, and thousands of votes later, we have seeded the bracket with your preferences.
Top seeds in each of the four brackets are all well-knowns in Beijing’s burger community.
Last year’s champion Slow Boat Brewery tops Bracket A, while last year’s Number 6 – Jing-A – tops bracket B. Home Plate BBQ (last year’s 3rd-ranked burger) tops Bracket C, and Slider Nation (last year’s 4) tops Bracket D.
Alongside these time-tested and tasty selections is an amazing array of 17 new burger places – more than a quarter of the 64-contestant bracket – that were not in our Top 100 last year. These include new standouts such as COMMUNE·X, Ye Brewing and Apollo.
This means even die-hards have a lot of eating to do to before casting their ballot in the next round – hence why we’ve created Juicy Burger Month, where we’re going to challenge you to try at least 22 of them!
You’ll have three glorious weeks, Nov 11 to Dec 4, to try 22 of the burgers that have made it into the Round of 64 (and use this to inform your voting as rounds move forward) – with special discounts and deals to boot.
Think of it as one big citywide Burger Fest!
Plus, the more burgers you go out and taste in the next three weeks, the more chances you’ll have to win prizes … it all begins tomorrow, so stay tuned to the Beijinger to find out all the details!
