Juicy Burger Cup Sweet 16: 2 Newbies Through Among Familiar Favs
There is carnage in the capital with Round of 32 over and 16 more burger casualties falling by the wayside, while 16 victors survive to fight another day.
Yes, we've reached the Sweet 16 and things are really starting to get serious as the remaining burger spots battle it out to make it into the Elite 8!

There were no big upsets for former Burger Cup champions, with all six making it through to the Sweet 16. A refresher on previous Burger Cup winners:

A handful of newcomers managed to make it into the Round of 32, but only Wild Kite Brewing and Malbec & Beef have survived to make the Sweet 16. Could one of these be a dark horse and future burger champion?
17 of the 22 restaurants participating in the Beijinger Juicy Burger Month battled through to the Round of 32 as well, but this number has been cut to 12 with Burge's Bistro & Bar, COMMUNE•X, The Great Outdoor(s), Brotzeit German Bier Restaurant and Burp all being knocked out.
There are some tense times ahead though, with the Sweet 16 matchups pitting former champs Side Street and Slow Boat against each other.
