To take a break from these uncertain times, our Communitas spring edition is here to ease your mind.

Our international community allows us to explore, learn, and grow from one another to improve ourselves and add a fresh perspective on life. Our daily experiences provide us with new insights and knowledge to further connect beyond our comfort zone. And this is how we gain the opportunity to “Finding Connections,” a chance to achieve openness and self-fulfillment.

Through the latest Communitas edition, these thought-provoking stories grant us to appreciate our community and to further create connections with people, offline and online. Our teaching approach has shifted from traditional learning to collaborative learning. At SCIS, our students are more connected than ever with their teachers and peers, stimulating them to act and acquire more knowledge through our collaborative learning environments. Collaborative learning environments are designed to foster critical thinking skills and empathy towards each other.

People often say, “walk a mile in someone else's shoes.” And this also applies to a child-parent relationship. Parents need to connect with their children to help them grow both at school and at home. And one of the core elements of building a stronger bond with a child is developing a strong connection and a trusting relationship with the school.
