Our warm, dynamic, and welcoming community is the result of the diverse and inclusive group of students, teachers, parents, and staff who choose to call SCIS their second home. ![]()
In the past years, we’ve celebrated the United Nations International Day of Peace (UNIDOP). And this year was no different. All three of our campuses celebrated UNIDOP in their own, unique way to share the importance of respecting one another’s cultural backgrounds, traditions, values, and beliefs.

This year’s theme is “End Racism. Build Peace.” Achieving true peace requires the building of societies where all members feel they can flourish. It involves creating a world in which people are treated equally, regardless of their race. ![]()
We all have a role to play in fostering peace. Tackling racism is a crucial way to contribute to this effort. To honor a cessation of hostilities, we invited our community to come to school dressed in their home country’s traditional costumes or country’s colors. Through our UNIDOP assemblies, we commemorated the day through education and public awareness on issues related to peace. ![]()
At SCIS, we celebrate UNIDOP not just today, but every day. Every day is a day for all humanity to commit to peace above all differences and to contribute to building a culture of peace.
SCIS. Truly International.
