6 Reasons Halloween is Fang-tastic at SCIS
It’s Halloween! People all around the world are familiar with the Western traditions of Halloween: costumes, trick-or-treating, jack-o'-lanterns, and fun-sized candy bars. But at SCIS, Halloween has become more than just these classic traditions over the years. It has become a yearly anticipated event across our three campuses where our community can be wowed by the unexpected.
And here are the 6 reasons our community is fang-tastic.
1. Spook-a-thon turned into flesh mob.
Be sure everyone sees your creative, scary, or funny Halloween costume by parading in our annual Halloween Parade. And did you catch the groovy Hongqiao Lower School flash mob? If you missed it, be sure to watch the video below.

From creative costumes to fierce face painting, this is the day when you can show off your creative and fashion talent that is out of this world.

4. Boo-vie night.
What’s a better way to celebrate Halloween than with a fun-filled spooktacular movie? On our Pudong campus, we held an outdoor movie night featuring Ghostbusters: After Life.
5. It's Fry-Day.
Have you ever loved your favorite food so much that you wanted to become it? You’re in luck. Halloween is the one day of the year when you can become what you eat without guilt. And who doesn’t love fries? I'm lovin' it.
