Max Martin, the music Producer of & Juliet, is one of the most famous, and probably the most profitable producers on the planet. Known as the Hit Song machine, he is the super-producer behind Britney Spears, the Backstreet Boys and Celine Dion. This musical, & Juliet, is his musical debut.
He has produced a total of 22 No. 1 Billboard singles. Among Katy Perry's nine NO.1 hit singles, eight were produced by Max Martin, except Firework. He has been nominated for a total of 21 Grammy awards since 2000.
The premiere of &Juliet first took place at the Shaftesbury Theater on November 2, 2019. & Juliet is the hilarious and fun-loving new West End musical that asks: what if Juliet’s famous ending was really just her beginning? What if she decided to choose her own fate? This is Juliet’s story now. So don’t tell her how it ends.
Soaring with pop anthems, & Juliet is a riotous blast of fun and glorious music that proves when it comes to love, there’s always life after Romeo. The song One More Try is written entirely new by Jessie J, later released on November 22, 2019. The musical also includes many other pop songs, like Baby One More Time, Everybody, Love Me Like You Do and Can’t Feel My Face.
