The lute (and other two poems)
Hang the rug
which stiff clapper,
from the black hole
on the second floor.
The war walks
haughty
through the ruins,
from the fierce attack
even fright.
From the first floor
the man points
the lute,
extend his arm
In the distance,
to the other that waits
down on the street,
surrounded by rubble
stones and offal.
Sleeping music
in the chords,
the silence that
the strings and the box,
keep
remind them
of other lives,
forgotten melodies,
the ancestors and the
voices,
that save them.
Suddenly
From the rubble
men move.
They smile, hug
look like children
playing in the square.
The Babel voices
they resonate, shut up
run through the streets, run
call the houses.
All gather and
dance and sing,
and even from the church
bells are heard.
Peace has crept in
through the wide gate.
A gentle breeze
left it ajar,
and so suddenly,
through the slit
the dove arrives
and peace is installed.
The sun shines
farm fields,
aroma of breads
returns them to childhood,
Life begins,
Also hope.
The light
At dawn
the sleepy light
infiltrates, advances
and turns off in its wake
the night the silence,
the shadows and the crying.
The sun is shining
and its brilliance runs
mountains and rivers,
sneaks into gardens
also in the houses.
Inked the trees
the flowers, the meadows,
the seven colors
shine in the lakes.
The color explodes
the light, the reflections.
The day wakes up
and the light discovers
the entire universe.

琴（外二首）
从二楼
黑洞
挂出
硬邦邦作响的围毯。
傲慢的
战争
从猛攻
甚至恐怖中
走过废墟。
那个人从一楼
将琴对着
远处
被垃圾
和碎石包围着的
另一个人。
琴弦里的
睡眠曲，
乐器与匣子
的静
一直让他们想到
其他生命，
被忘却的旋律，
先祖们以及
拯救他们的
声音。
骤然
人们从瓦砾移动
他们笑啊，抱啊
仿佛孩子一般
在广场上玩。
混乱的声音
他们回响，闭上嘴
跑过一条条街道，跑
叫喊家家户户。
所有人都集合起来
又唱又跳
甚至听到从教堂传来的
钟声。
和平从宽敞的大门里
偷偷爬进。
是一股和风
将门微开
于是乎骤然间
鸽子
穿过狭缝抵达
和平也被安插至此。
太阳照耀着
农田
面包香
送他们回到童年
生活开始
希望也开始。
光
黎明时分
嗜睡的光
穿透，沁入
转而浸润它的苏醒
夜晚寂静
影子和叫喊。
阳光灿烂
其光辉淌过
山河
溜进花园
也溜进房子。
油墨了树木
百花，草地
七色照亮湖泊。
色彩激发
光，反影。
白昼苏醒
光发现
整个宇宙。

About the author:
Norma García Coirolo, born in Río Branco, Cerro Largo, Uruguay in 1947. She has been writing since 1966, publishing for the first time in 2012. In 2021 she publishes her Poetic Anthology 1967 - 2020 Rumbo a Sirio - Editorial Versos Compartidas - Montevideo, Uruguay, April 2021. On the other hand, she integrates Anthologies in Murcia, Alicante, Madrid, Guatemala, Mexico, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Argentina, Calcutta, Peru and Brazil. (2015 to 2022).
