Akcome’s modules help to gird-connection of multiple PV projects

On November 18, the full-capacity grid connection of CR Caijin 800MW PV Power Generation Project Phase I 100MW supplied by Akcome was completed. The project is located in Hongguang Fishery Demonstration Zone, Kenli District, Dongying City, Shandong Province. It is one of the first batch of national large base projects, as well as the construction project of integrated base of wind, light and storage of renewable energy base emphatically built in the 14th Five-Year Plan of Shandong Province. 

This project is the third batch of photovoltaic module centralized procurement project of CR Power successfullywon the bid by Akcome in March 2022, with a total of 4 phases of supply, 100MW in each phase. In the complex and severe overall environment in 2022, many wind power photovoltaic large base projects appear to slow down and shut down. As the module supplier of the project, Akcome and CR Power made concerted efforts to complete the supply of 182mm double-sided double-glass efficient PERC modules (540W/545W) and finally realized the smooth grid connection of the project in phases and batches.

On December 23, the first batch of photovoltaic modules of China Resources Chibi Riyao 350MW complementary photovoltaic power generation project was connected to the grid. On the same day, the first batch of photovoltaic modules of Chebu 120MW Fuguang Complementary Photovoltaic Power Generation Project was connected to the grid.

The total investment of Riyao 350MW fishing complementary photovoltaic power generation project is about RMB 2 billion, and the total investment of Chebu 120MW fishery and light complementary photovoltaic power generation project is about RMB 550 million. The project is a "photovoltaics+" large comprehensive mode development project integrating photovoltaic, water system management, ecological breeding, ecological restoration and ecological agriculture. It has important demonstration significance for driving local economic benefits and improving local ecological management. This project adopts Akcome 182 PERC 72 half-sheet double-glass high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, which have core advantages including high power generation, high conversion efficiency, low power cost and low attenuation rate. It will provide a solid backing for improving the quality and efficiency of ecological management and the rapid development of local economy. 

On December 28, 100,000-kilowatt Wuhai Photovoltaic and Mine Ecological Restoration Comprehensive Utilization Project Phase II 100MW PV project in Wuda District of National Energy Kehuan New Energy was successfully connected to the grid for power generation.

The project is located in Wuda District, Wuhai City, Inner Mongolia, and adopts Akcome high-efficiency 210mm double-glass PERC modules. They have the core advantages of high power generation, high conversion efficiency and low temperature coefficient. The attenuation rate in the first year is no more than 2%, and the low attenuation rate of 0.45% per year in 2-30 years is high in reliability. In addition to the modules, the project adopts Akcome weathering-resistant steel supporting system, which is featured by good corrosion resistance, environmental protection and low cost. 

Since the commencement of the project, the project personnel have made accurate suggestions around the production target, overcome the difficulties such as tight supply chain and fluctuation of the photovoltaic market, and strive to promote the construction of various tasks in a race against time. Akcome actively cooperated and worked efficiently to guarantee the production and supply of modules and supports, and finally promoted the successful grid connection of the project.

On December 31, after the grid-connection of 100MW photovoltaic project in Wuda District of Phase II of National Energy Kehuan New Energy Photovoltaic+Mine Ecological Restoration Comprehensive Utilization Project, the 100MW photovoltaic project in Hainan District in Phase I was also successfully connected to the grid for power generation. The completion and operation of the project will help the region to build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system, adding strong momentum to the local green transformation and efficient development.

The project is the construction of photovoltaic power station at the site of the coal mine waste dump and coal mining subsidence area. Through the comprehensive mine ecological management and the construction of the photovoltaic power station, it realises photovoltaic power generation on the board, ecological restoration under the plate and the three-dimensional utilization of the land. The project adopts Akcome 210 high-efficiency PERC modules, with half-cut and double-glass process.The power of the module is as high as 545W. The attenuation rate in the first year is not more than 2%, and the average attenuation rate in 30 years is not more than 0.45%. The 12-year product material and process warranty plus the 30-year product linear power warranty, providing a solid guarantee for the smooth grid connection of the project in Hainan District. 

On December 31, the Shandan Dongletan 100MW PV power station jointly built by Guodian Group Gansu Branch and Green Energy Technology (State Nuclear Power Institute) was connected to the grid. This project is the first batch of new energy supporting projects during the 14th Five-Year Plan period of Zhangye City, and is also a high-quality demonstration project created by Guodian Investment Group. After the project is put into operation successfully, it can effectively improve the utilization rate of renewable energy in Shandan County and promote the high-quality development of local economy.

The Project adopts Akcome 210mm 66 pieces of half-cut heterojunction double-sided double-glass high-efficiency modules, 210mm 66 pieces of half-cut PERC double-sided double-glass high-efficiency modules and 182mm 72 pieces of half-cut PERC double-sided double-glass modules. Adhering to the customer-first strategy, Akcome has actively taken a number of measures to overcome the impact of COVID-19 and the tight supply chain, to coordinate its efforts to ensure the normal operation of production and achieve the rapid delivery of module products of the project. 

In the process of construction of several photovoltaic projects, Akcome is struggling to move forward and make full efforts to achieve the delivery of products with guaranteed quality and quantity. The successful grid-connection of many projects signifies the important achievement of Akcome's "customer first" strategy and indicates that the progress of Akcome before the fourth “Five-Year Plan” has become more solid.
