New regulations of comments on social media platforms will take effect on December 15.

For netizen who publish illegal or harmful content, public accounts operators should take actions according to law and user agreements, like to give warnigns, refuse to publish, delete the content, restrict account's functions, suspend account, close account, ban on new account registration and keep relevant records.
If social media platform operators fails to fulfil the management obligation which result in harmful content distributed, measures will be taken according to law, like to giver warnings, delete content, suspend comments function, close comments function permanently, restrit accounts' functions, suspend accounts, close accounts, ban on new account registration and report illegal and undesirable information to the regulator.
