借问酒家何处有？牧童遥指杏花村。

The Mourning Day

It drizzles thick and fast on the Mourning Day,

The mourner's heart is going to break on his way.

When asked for a wineshop to drown his sad hours?

A cowboy points to a hamlet amid apricot flowers.

清代画家王翚的《平林散牧图》中，绿树花丛掩映着一座酒馆，厨娘正当垆卖酒，林间小道上，牧童牵牛阔步走来，行人信马由缰，走入了细雨纷纷与杏花飘落的春天。

Pastures in Forest by Wang Hui, a painter of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), depicts a tavern shaded by green trees and flowers, in which a fair lady is selling hot wine. On the forest path, a shepherd boy is striding with his cow, while a traveler roams on horseback to enjoy a taste of spring as apricot blossoms fall in a drizzle.
