There’s some hopeful news for the film industry coming from China. As the number of new cases of the coronavirus declines in China, those theaters in low risk areas in China “can resume business in an orderly manner” as early as Monday, July 20, the China Film Administration announced in a recent notice.
终于!中国电影界传来了一些令人振奋的消息。国家电影局在近日发布的通知中表示,随着国内新冠肺炎病例数量的下降和疫情常态化现状,低风险地区的电影院最早可在7月20日(周一)有序恢复开放营业。
All cinemas will operate in accordance with the “Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of the Reopening of Film Projections at the China Film Distribution and Screening Association”, get ready for the prevention and control work in order to smooth the reopening process.
所有影院需要按照《中国电影发行放映协会电影放映场所恢复开放疫情防控指南》,做好各项防控工作,推进电影院恢复开放。
Masks will be mandatory and people with a temperature higher than 37.3 degrees Celsius will not be allowed to enter, according to authorities. Audience members have to sit at least 1 meter from each other and theaters must operate at below 30 percent capacity.
