This so-called stereoview 3D technology isn't new - these tricks of the eyes can be traced back to the Renaissance, where three-dimensional pictures were seen from a fixed angle in some paintings on the roof of churches.

To make this all happen, complex algorithms must be calculated - which takes over a month for the numbers to be crunched. This means that every single second is extremely expensive - but that's the price of mind-blowing visual effects!

Location
This is the first 3D super screen in northwest region, is not only a super cool site for selfies, but also is calling card for Xi'an. It offcially opened on December 12, and can be visited at any time!
Recently, a gigantic 90-degree curved LED digital signage installation, set above a retail space close to Sino-Ocean TaiKoo Li, went viral online and has become a visitor hotspot. The screen also shows different 3D-effect videos, including a Star Trek-like spaceship emerging from the screen into the space in front of it.
Best viewed from an angle, the glasses-free ‘3D’ video wall has been a top-five trending topics on Sina Weibo, a Chinese social media network that is similar to Twitter, during a Chinese national holiday. The effect of depth, which gives the illusion that the spaceship is flying out of the building is achieved without special devices and glasses but can only be viewed from a certain angle.

Just a week after Chengdu's LED screen went viral, another one Chongqing popped up. At a Guanyinqiao shopping mall, a 3D spaceship 'flies' out of a large LED screen, a scene which apparently can be seen every night from 8 to 10:50pm.
The city has unveiled plans aimed at jazzing up the Liziba Station even further by adding a giant, 300-square-meter LED screen to the entrance which will make it appear as though the train is passing through a “hot pot,” Chongqing’s signature dish.

On Weibo, netizens are aghast, writing that the effect looks “terrible,” like a “disaster zone,” and have likened the whole plan to “drawing legs on a snake” (画蛇添足), a Chinese idiom for overdoing it.
Social media users have compared the video wall to landmark Samsung 8K digital signage in Seoul, South Korea, where video activations from creative agency d’strct have included a giant anamorphic wave and a giant toy.
