1. Canada

Canada has been the most sought after destination for many people wishing to relocate in 2022. According to a research conducted by an Australian financial firm, Compare the Market, Canada was most popular among youths in China, India, and many eastern and southern African countries.

In total, people from 50 countries worldwide preferred Canada as the country they would like to relocate to in 2022.

2. Japan

Surprisingly, even to Japanese themselves, Japan took the second top position as the country people around the world would like to relocate to. Japan was popular in 31 countries, including USA, Brazil, Indonesia, Germany, South Korea, and ironically, even Canadians preferred to relocate to Japan.

Some online users in Japan were surprised with this ranking, while others suspected that cheap living costs contributed to the country’s ranking.

3. Spain

Spain was popular with most people from 19 countries, making it the third most popular country where people wants to relocate to in 2022.

China came in at number 4 with most people from 15 countries wishing to relocate to the Middle Kingdom the most in 2022.

Please do note that returning to China from abroad is still not easy, and you will have to undergo quarantine upon arrival. Having a valid visa and booking a flight (not to mention an affordable one) seem the biggest problems, though there are many other hurdles.

At number 5 is France, where it has proved to be the most attractive country for people from 11 countries.
